Botox®

Eyelid Surgery
Each year thousands of women and men choose eyelid surgery to help restore a more energetic and youthful appearance. Eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty can correct sagging eyelids, remove fatty pouches beneath the eyes, and remove excess skin from the upper eyelids. Blepharoplasty can be done alone or in conjunction with other facial surgery procedures such as a facelift, a brow lift or laser skin resurfacing.

Laser Resurfacing
With laser surgery, there is no cutting of the skin using a scalpel. Instead, the laser produces brief flashes of high-energy light that vaporize the uppermost layer of the skin. These skin cells literally disappear in a puff of steam; Leaving the dermis clean, fresh, and revitalized.

Thermage
The Thermage procedure was developed to help the signs of ageing skin. It works by tightening tissue. It is designed to cause immediate collagen contraction by a gentle heating process followed by new collagen production that occurs over a period of time.

cHEMICAL pEEL
The function of a skin peel is to create an even controlled shedding of damaged cells. This exposes a new fresh layer of skin with a more even color and smoother texture. The peel stimulates new cells to grow, thereby tightening the skin, which decreases the appearance of wrinkling.

Body
Tumescent liposculpture is especially effective for those fatty areas that have been resistant to dieting and exercise. In women, the most common areas for Tumescent Liposculpture are the thighs, stomach, hips, knees, calves, ankles and chin. In men, the most common areas are the love handles, stomach, chin and breasts.

Breast
A new and exciting alternative to traditional breast reduction surgery is liposculpture breast reduction, also known as tumescent liposuction reduction mammoplasty. Unlike conventional breast reduction surgery which involves cutting out breast tissue with resultant scars, the new techniques involves the use of tiny straw-like Microcannulas which suction out the fat through tiny incisions.

Smart Lipo/LaserLipolysis
Dr. Michalak is the first physician, in Washington State to offer Smart Lipo. Smart Lipo is the first device approved by the FDA which uses a combination of Laser energy and tumescent liposuction to remove unwanted fat deposits in the body. The technique known as Laser Lipolysis or Laser Assisted lipolysis is unique in using laser energy instead of other fat dissolving technologies such as ultra sound.

Acne
With the use of lasers such as "Smoothbeam" and "V-beam" with "Photodynamic" (PDT) action, inflammation causing bacteria and overactive oil glands - sebaceous glands - (which can cause pimples, pustules and cysts) are targeted resulting in reduction of acne blemishes and decreased risk of scarring.

Rosacea
Rosacea is a common skin disease that causes redness and swelling in the central face. Rosacea may begin as a tendency to blush easily, and then progress to become persistent redness, usually in the central face and nose area. Even though rosacea is a chronic disorder, it can be managed well by several treatment methods.

Skin Cancer
Skin cancer is the most prevalent of all cancers affecting more than one million people every year. Early prevention, detection, diagnosis and treatment is the best approach to this potentially serious skin disease.

Injection/Laser
The Sclerotherapy treatment was developed in the 1920's. During the procedure, a sclerosing solution is injected into the vein through a micro-needle. The tiny needle generally causes very little pain. The sclerosing solution causes the vein to blanch (turn white), then gradually disappear. A typical treatment may last for 15 to 20 minutes and consist of multiple injections. Injections Sclerotherapy may eliminate the need for an invasive surgical procedure.

Skin Tightening
Areas with loose skin such as the arms, stomach, buttocks and thighs can be firmed up and tightened non-surgically with the Thermalift technique in one to two treatments.

Stretch Marks
Using Fraxel Laser technology and V beam, stretch marks can now be noticeably improved with no down time procedures using safe state of the art techniques.
