Restylane and Perlane:
These materials are derived from non-animal sources and are complex sugar materials which provide longer effects than any of the collagen implant materials. In some cases, twice the longevity of correction may be achieved.
Radiance: Radiesse
A material derived from nonliving sources can provide increased filling volume with some increase in longevity. Fewer treatments and longer results than with some fillers. This is one of the newer “sculpting agents”.
Sculptra:
One of the newest sculpting agents/fillers based on lactic acid derivatives with better results for areas needing more volume and providing longer results lasting over one year.
